Dr. Alisha Diamond Adatia
Dr. Adatia graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 2001. As part of the program, she did an ocular disease externship with Houston Eye Associates in Houston, TX. After graduating, Dr. Adatia went on to complete a residency in Low Vision and Geriatric Optometry at the Centre for Sight Enhancement at the University of Waterloo.
Having been born and raised in Calgary, AB, Dr. Adatia moved back in 2002 to work in private practice in various clinics around the city. After gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience she started Blink Eyewear in 2008.
Always greeting you with a smile, Dr. Adatia provides an exceptional eye care experience for her patients.
Dr. Adatia is a member of the Calgary Society of Optometrists, the Alberta Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Leanne Joly
Dr. Joly graduated from the University of Regina with a B.Sc. and B.A. before pursuing a career in optometry. She completed the OD program at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2004. During the final year of study, Dr Joly completed externships in Alberta in the areas of ocular disease management, refractive surgery care, and primary eyecare.
After graduation Dr. Joly relocated to Alberta and provided vision care in Airdrie and Innisfail before joining Blink Eyewear in 2011. Dr Joly welcomes patients of all ages and is committed to providing excellant patient care.
Dr. Joly is a member of the Calgary Society of Optometrists, the Alberta Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
Dr. Sarah MacDonald
Dr. Sarah MacDonald realized her passion for optometry and the eye while completing her Bachelor of Science with Advanced major in Biology at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. From there, she attended and graduated with honours from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 2011. As part of her training she completed an externship in Ocular Disease and Therapeutics in Lexington, Kentucky as well as a specialty contact lens seminar in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. MacDonald was born and raised on Prince Edward Island and, like many east coasters, has ventured west to Calgary to begin her career. She is excited to join the Blink Eyewear team. She cares very much about her patients and is dedicated to providing the very best eye care for them.
Dr. MacDonald is a member of the Alberta Association of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists, and Calgary Society of Optometrists.
Mary - Creekside Clinic

Sonja Weidmann - West Springs Village
Sonja joined the Blink team May 2010. Having worked in a downtown optical for the past 6 years, she brings with her a wealth of knowlege and experience in the "downtown style". She'll find you a frame which caters to your personal style, from contemporary to retro or fun to professional.
Nadia - West Springs Village
Nadia has been with Blink Eyewear since 2009. She completed the Optometric Assistant course in 2010. Her personal passion for fashion will help you find the designer frame that's right for you.
Rhonda - West Springs Village
Rhonda is the most recent addition to our staff but is proud to call herself our "Senior Optician." She has over 25 years of experience in the optical industry and has a solid knowledge base in both ophthalmic lens choices and frame selection. She considers fun funky frame styles with the perfect optical lenses a perfect match. Come in and meet her!
